Dimitris Rachoutis

3rd European Karate Champion

Dimitris Rachoutis was born in Athens in 1982.

Since 1989 at the age of seven years, starts practicing Karate with Chris Bouloumpasi 8th Dan World Karate Federation (WKF) as a trainer.

In 1991 participates for the first time in kumite competitions (free race – Sport Karate), and in 1993 won his first national medal.

Two years later, more precisely in 1995, won first place in his category, winning the gold medal and the title of Champion of Greece.

The title of Champion of Greece conquered for 12 consecutive years until 2008.

Between 1996 and 2012 he was a member of the national teams in all age levels (Children – Adolescents – Men – Junior Men). One of his greatest achievement were the third European medal in the WKF (World Karate Federation).

Because of his athletic performance in 2000 enters University of Athens in the Department of Physical Education and Sport.

In 2008 he gets the 4th DAN rank by Sensei T. Suzuki, one of the greatest karate teacher ever.

A year later, in 2009, takes the 1st Dan rank in Judo by EOT (Greek Judo Federation).
In 2010, the WKF (World Karate Federation), honors him with the 4th Dan rank for the overall contribution to karate.

Dimitris is Rachoutis graduate Coach Karate (Physical Education Athens). He is also a Certified Professional Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor in programs from IAFA College.
